Cutting a person in half...  Sean Taylor and Chris Murphy's great new version of this classic effect. 

An audience member is requested to lie on a table and a stock is locked over his mid-section.  A piece of plywood is placed in a slot dircectly above the victim.   An electric saw with a menacing looking blade is shown and is placed into the stock.  The magician pushes the saw across the stock and the victim.  The saw cuts through the plywood, but never harms the volunteer who is released none the worse for wear.

The whole illusion packs in one small case and weighs approximately 12kg.  The case unfolds to become the table on which the volunteer lies. 

Please note the power saw uses 240 volt power, however you can replace with an inexpensive jig saw from your local hardware supplier.
